Once you’ve decided to embark on a series of coaching sessions, the process is both enjoyable and straight forward.

Where does it take place?
I offer clients coaching either in person at my practice in Cheltenham, or by telephone, which is becoming increasingly popular.
How long and how often?
A coaching session lasts for about one hour and typically takes place once a week or once a fortnight. I usually recommend a series of 6 sessions for new clients who want to make some lasting , positive changes in their lives and create an exciting future for themselves.
Sometimes, when clients have a specific requirement such as building self-esteem or learning how to act with confidence, one or two sessions is all it takes to get the desired results.
What are the sessions like?
At the start of each session you will be asked to set a goal for the hour. This may sound a bit rigid, but my coaching sessions are productive and not just an opportunity for clients to chat about problems.
When you’re being coached you will be skilfully asked relevant and incisive questions that relate to your situation. Sometimes you will find the work challenging but by answering the questions honestly and making notes, you will start to see new possibilities open up for you and begin to realise that there are new ways of thinking about life’s challenges and lots of ways to overcome obstacles that maybe you haven’t thought of before.
What can I expect?
Each session will result in you having an action plan for the week that will help propel you towards your desired outcome. For example, if finding a new job is your desired outcome, you may have an action plan that includes putting together a new cv, searching for job opportunities and doing some confidence- building exercises.
During coaching you will also learn how to control your inner voice and start making it work for you instead of against you. This is when coaching becomes exciting and when really positive, long-term changes can be made.
The Focus is on the Future
My coaching style deals with helping you find solutions. We will not spend much time analyzing the past or re-living old traumas. We will concentrate on moving forward from where you are now to where you want to be shortly.

Most people use a coach when they feel something is blocking their future success or happiness. I can help you break through anything that is blocking your progress.
