Small Business Coaching
If you’re running a small business or contemplating doing so in the near future, I can help you achieve the results you want faster and more easily than if you do it on your own.
One of the reasons I enjoy business coaching so much is that I understand the challenges faced by entrepreneurs. Having owned a number of small businesses in the past, and successfully coached small business owners, I understand how easy it is to become so busy with day to day activities that you don’t make time to plan ahead properly or to sit back and measure your progress.
It is important to know where your business is going, to plan your daily and weekly activities and to make sure everyone within your company is aiming for the same target. Learning to delegate is one of the challenges that many people who set up a company face when they start to grow.
My Approach
My approach is to make sure that each session leaves my client with one or more clearly defined goals and a plan of action that will make those goals a reality.
As a starting point it is crucial to set long- term, medium- term and short- term goals for your business. Using skilled questioning techniques I can help you design your different time-frame goals so that we have a structure within which to work.
Once your longer term objectives are defined, more immediate targets can be set with the long range goal in mind. It is much easier to achieve your goals when you break them down into manageable chunks.
Its not just about business!
When you’re running a business its important that other areas of your life are also in balance.
Its no good having a profitable business if your family life or social life is deteriorating at a rapid rate. Similarly, if you don’t take care of your emotional and physical wellbeing outside work, your business performance will suffer.
As a qualified life coach, I make sure that my clients pay attention to all area of their lives and set goals accordingly. We work together towards creating a successful work/life balance.
